Notification of January 22, 2005

Orbis Investment Management Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda has sent us the following notifications pursuant to § 21 (1) of the Securities Trading Act:

On January 10, 2005, the percentage of voting rights of Orbis Investment Management Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, in MEDION AG exceeded the 5% threshold and now amounts to 5.01%. This percentage is deemed equivalent to 100% of the voting rights allocated to Orbis Investment Management Limited pursuant to § 22 (1) sentence 1 No. 6 of the Securities Trading Act.

On January 11, 2005, the percentage of voting rights of Orbis Global Equity Fund Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, in MEDION AG exceeded the 5% threshold and now amounts to 5.41%.

On January 10, 2005, the percentage of voting rights of Orbis World Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, in MEDION AG exceeded the 5% threshold and now amounts to 5.09%. This percentage is deemed equivalent to 100% of the voting rights of Orbis World Limited pursuant to § 22 (1) sentence 1 No. 1 and No. 6 of the Securities Trading Act.
 
On January 10, 2005, the percentage of voting rights of Orbis Holdings Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, in MEDION AG exceeded the 5% threshold and now amounts to 5.09%. This percentage is deemed equivalent to 100% of the voting rights allocated to Orbis Holdings Limited pursuant to § 22 (1) sentence 1 No. 1 and No. 6 of the Securities Trading Act.

On January 10, 2005, the percentage of voting rights of Pictet Overseas Trust Corporation Limited, Nassau, Bahamas - trustee of Orbis Holdings Trust - in MEDION AG exceeded the 5% threshold and now amounts to 5.09%. This percentage is deemed equivalent to 100% of the voting rights of Pictet Overseas Trust Corporation Limited pursuant to § 22 (1) sentence 1 No. 1 and No. 6 of the Securities Trading Act.
